The painter Luis Gordillo presents a show at the Alhambra entitled “Confesión general”

The painter Luis Gordillo (Sevilla, 1934) will be presenting an anthological exhibition at the Temporary Exhibition Room in the Granada Fine Arts Museum on the top floor of the Palace of Charles V at the Alhambra. The show revisits all the various creative stages in the life of an artist considered one of the main figures in Spanish abstract art from the late 1950s right down to the present.
The exhibition, which will run from October to the 14th January, is divided into interdependent exhibition spaces: one at the Centro José Guerrero, where his first works (from the late fifties until the end of the sixties) will be on display and the other at the Palace of Charles V, where you can see a selection of pieces from his later years, from the 1980s down to the present day.
Organized by the Council of the Alhambra and Generalife, the Centro José Guerrero, the Andalusian Contemporary Art Centre, the Galician Contemporary Art Centre and Koldo Mitxelena Kulturenea, admission will be free of charge. 
Luis Gordillo has an excellent international reputation and his paintings can be seen in many of the most important modern art museums in the world.
