Antonio Skármeta visits the Alhambra

Chilean author Antonio Skármeta, winner of the 2003 Planeta Prize for his novel El Baile de la Victoria, visited the Alhambra and Generalife site this morning, accompanied by his partner Nora María Preperski and Carmen Martínez, coordinator of the Centro Andaluz de las Letras.
During the visit, guided by PAG archaeology consultant Jesús Bermúdez, Skármenta, who declared himself fascinated by the magic enveloping the Nasrid stronghold, admired the palaces, viewed the exhibition Lions, the restoration of a symbol in the crypt of the Palace of Carlos V and visited the Generalife gardens.
