Evening visits to the Nasrid Palaces throughout the year and to the Generalife between March and November.
Night visit
There are two kinds of night visits, the night visit around the palaces and the night visit around the gardens. This visits are independent and incompatible because they take place at the same time.
Night visit. The use of flash is not allowed during the night visits as it can dazzle the other visitors and disturb the quiet perception of the suggestively illuminated tours.
The visits only include the spaces specifically adapted to this kinds of visit for safety and conservation reasons.

Night visit around Nasrid Palaces
With the admission ticket for this type of evening visit you can get to know the Nasrid Palaces under special illumination conditions.
ITINERARY
The visit commences at the Alhambra Atrium, where tickets are sold and information on the visits is made available. The route continues along a passageway by the walls, looking onto the Torre del Agua (Water Tower), Torre de Baltasar de la Cruz, Torre de los Siete Suelos (Seven-Storeyed Tower), Tower del Capitán, Torre de la Bruja (Tower of the Witch) and Torre de las Cabezas (Tower of Heads), arriving at the Palace of Charles V (on visit) through the gates Puerta de la Justicia or the Puerta de los Carros.
The visit continues through the following areas:
- Patio de Machuca (organised visits).
- Mexuar.
- Patio Dorado and Cuarto Dorado.
- Court of the Myrtles (Patio de los Arrayanes).
- Sala de la Barca.
- Throne room.
- Mirador de la Reja.
- The Emperor’s chambers.
- Carlos V corridor.
- Sala de Dos Hermanas (including visit to the Sala de los Ajimeces and the Mirador de Lindaraja).
- Court of the Lions (Patio de los leones).
- Sala de los Mocárabes.
- Patio de los Arrayanes (south gallery).
- Exhibition of the lions.
- Puerta del Príncipe (exit gate).IMPORTANT: The Evening Visit to the Nasrid Palaces does not include the admission to the Generalife, since there is a specific evening visit, scheduled for the same time, to get to know this illumined area.
You are kindly requested to keep your flash turned off during the evening visit, since the use of flash bothers other visitors who cannot enjoy undisturbed their visit to the Nasrid Palaces.

March 15th through October 14th
Days for visit: Tuesdays to Saturdays
Hour ticket office: 21.30–22.30.
Hour visit: 22.00–23.30.
October 15th through March 14th
Days for visit: Fridays and Saturdays
Hour ticket office: 19.30–20.30
Hour visit: 20.00–21.30.
IMPORTANT: Visitors must enter the Nasrid Palaces within the specific access time slot written on their admission ticket.

Night visit around the Gardens and Palace of the Generalife
With the admission ticket for this type of evening visit you can get to know the Gardens and the Palace of the Generalife under special illumination conditions.
ROUTE
The visit commences at the Alhambra Atrio and continues along the Cypress Grove to the Walnut Grove in the Generalife. This walk leads through the northern part of the New or Lower Generalife Gardens, to the Generalife Palace.
The visit to the Generalife palace includes:
- Entry Courtyard (Patio Apeadero).
- Second courtyard.
- Patio de la Acequia (including the el Royal Hall).
- The south gallery (exit)
- The Guesthouse (Casa de los amigos).
The visit finalises in the Alhambra Atrium, through the following route:- New or Lower Generalife gardens.
- Walnut Grove.
- Cypress Grove.IMPORTANT: The Evening Visit to the Gardens and the Palace of the Generalife does not include the admission to the Nasrid Palaces, since there is a specific evening visit, scheduled for the same time, to get to know this illumined area.
