The Hall of the Kings (Sala de los Reyes) in the Palace of the Lions (Palacio de los Leones) has three chambers covered with polychromatic domes that rest on a leather support. One of the paintings represents the meeting of some dignitaries dressed as kings, after which the hall is named.
In the 19th century, the ceilings of the chambers were altered, and the three rooms were divided, which damaged the paintings. The disrepair caused by the works is now being corrected, with the restoration of the original dome and the first actuations being carried out on the original paintings.
The actuation works can be divided into three areas:
