New system for the reservation and sale of tickets to the Alhambra

From 1st January we are introducing a new service for the reservation and sale of tickets to the Alhambra. From now on it will be easier to buy a ticket to visit the Alhambra Group of Monuments, as users will be able to buy their tickets online ( tickets.alhambra-patronato.es) anytime between three months and two hours prior to their visit, and all the tickets will be personalized with their Identity Card or Passport number. 

The new system also enables users to print the ticket (which will have a QR code) themselves and then present it at the Alhambra on arrival. Tickets can also be printed off at the ATMs in the ticket offices at the Generalife and at the Estafeta (Visitor Information Point) near the Palace of Charles V. Another new feature is that visitors will be allowed to use credit cards to buy their tickets, both at the Ticket Office and at the different places in the Monument appointed for this service. Visitors will also be able to pay in cash, as was the case up until now. When visitors buy their tickets online, they will receive two emails with recommendations about the visit and safety instructions.
