This initiative of the Council of the Alhambra and the Generalife tries the dissemination of the Monument in the society, mainly among the local community, by means of cultural and educational proposals that favor the approach to the Monument as symbol of identity and integration, and the understanding of its historical, architectural, urban planning and territorial values. 

Within this cultural programme three types of activities have been organised:

• Programme of guided visits: Guided by specialists of different subjects that allow an approach to the Alhambra from different perspectives. (link to section “guided visits by specialists”)
• Family programme: With visits Guided by expert educators in heritage interpretation, with new proposals of routes through the interior as well as through the outside of the Monumental Complex, where kids and adults can participate and enjoy at the same time.
• Programme of activities for the residents in Granada: This programme provides free visit to the Monumental complex Sundays evening to a number of citizens living in the province of Granada for organization reasons.

1. From May 1st through September 30th:

• Monday through Saturday: From 09:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 18:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m..
• Sundays: from 09:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m..
  

1. From October 1st to April 30th:

• From Monday to Saturday: from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 and from 16:00 p.m. to 20:00.
• Sundays: From 09:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.
