Where can I get an audio-guide. In what languages are they available?
Audio-guides are available in 5 languages (Spanish, English, German, Italian, French). These are available in the atrium (by the ticket offices) and at the gift shop in the Palace of Carlos V.

Yes. The From the Alhambra and surroundings to Granada and the Expert guided tours, as well as the Space of the month program regularly reveal spaces normally closed off to the public for conservation reasons.

Is there a combined visit to the Alhambra and Granada?
Yes, the From the Alhambra and surroundings to Granada is a programme of 5 different routes, each beginning in the Alhambra and leading down into the historic quarter of Granada, including the Albaicín district, and taking in some of the diverse and charming countryside on the way. These routes, organised along different themes, offer a special vision of the Alhambra, revealing spaces normally closed off to the public, and discovering other monuments in Granada opened especially for these visits. All guides are experts in Granada’s architectural and natural heritage. Routes commence by the scale models in the entrance lobby at 9.30 am. Estimated route time is about 4 hours.

In the Alhambra Atrium (by the ticket offices), on Calle Real de la Alhambra and by the Puerta del Vino (Wine Gate). Further information points are situated along the route, and there are also information guides.

Free maps are available at the ticket offices, at information points throughout the site, and at the Alhambra Gift & Book Shop in Granada town centre.

Where can I see the temporary exhibitions?
The Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife (PAG) sponsors temporary exhibitions throughout the year. These may be held in the Crypt and Chapel of the Palace of Carlos V or in the temporary Exhibition Room of the Museum of Fine Arts (on the upper floor of the Palace of Carlos V). Information on venues and opening times, etc. is made available in the atrium to the Palace of Carlos V and at other information points throughout the site.

Temporary exhibitions organised in the Monument, are there free?
All the temporary exhibitions that the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife organise are free. Most of them are the result of a thorough internal investigation complemented with interesting external contributions, which are offered free to all citizens.

The areas offered with the garden tickets can be visited with the general ticket?
Yes, with the general ticket you can visit all the areas of the Alhambra, including the Gardens.
We have to remind you that the Nasrid Palaces have limited entry capacity and you will only be able to access it at the exact time that is given on your ticket.
If you have acquired the general admission ticket you will not need to buy the garden ticket to visit the gardens.

My ticket shows a specific time for the visit, What does this mean?
The visit is scheduled for the morning, evening or night. The specific time of your visit to the Nasrid Palaces is printed on the ticket; you are recommended to observe the scheduled time; otherwise you will have no access to the palaces as it is a restricted area due to conservation reasons.

What happens if tickets are sold out?
If you could not purchase a general admission ticket do not worry, there are other options to make the most of your visit to the Alhambra. You will be able to know the monument at night with the Night visit ticket, or perhaps you prefer to visit the Generalife, or purchase a private visit. In addition, admission to the Museum of the Alhambra is free.
