  • Temporary exhibitions organised in the Monument, are there free?

All the temporary exhibitions that the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife organise are free. Most of them are the result of a thorough internal investigation complemented with interesting external contributions, which are offered free to all citizens.

  • The areas offered with the garden tickets can be visited with the general ticket?

Yes, with the general ticket you can visit all the areas of the Alhambra, including the Gardens.

We have to remind you that the Nasrid Palaces have limited entry capacity and you will only be able to access it at the exact time that is given on your ticket.

If you have acquired the general admission ticket you will not need to buy the garden ticket to visit the gardens.

  • My ticket shows a specific time for the visit, What does this mean?

The visit is scheduled for the morning, evening or night. The specific time of your visit to the Nasrid Palaces is printed on the ticket; you are recommended to observe the scheduled time; otherwise you will have no access to the palaces as it is a restricted area due to conservation reasons.

  • What happens if tickets are sold out?

If you could not purchase a general admission ticket do not worry, there are other options to make the most of your visit to the Alhambra. You will be able to know the monument at night with the Night visit ticket, or perhaps you prefer to visit the Generalife, or purchase a private visit. In addition, admission to the Museum of the Alhambra is free.
